Having grown up on a sheep and beef farm in Taranaki Becks has an in-depth understanding of farming. She has developed her skills and knowledge working alongside her clients to help grow their business and enjoys the relationship this forges. Many clients in the retailer/commercial sectors have taken up the opportunity to meet with Becks regularly to monitor their businesses more closely in what have been tough economic times.

in 2013 Becks took on the role of Treasurer for the Wairarapa Chamber of Commerce.

Becks has been an approved trainer and reseller of MYOB software for more than 10 years now, and has knowledge of most software products out there including Xero meaning she can help her clients to both find the software that is best for them, and use it effectively.

Becks is an active member of BNI – Business Networking International.  This is a networking group who meet every Tuesday morning.  It’s a great way for businesses to promote themselves and what they do.  Only one person can be a member from each profession at any one time.  BNI are strong supporters and fundraisers for Hospice.  Let Becks know if you think you would like to come along to a meeting and find out more.

Becks is married to Troy and they have a daughter Emily and a son Reuben. Prior to becoming a mother, Becks was a very active cyclist and skier – she can’t wait to get back to these hobbies again soon – including beating her current time in the Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge.
